Recently, Many members at the Vancouver Airport has seen success in being called back to the workplace during the last year. With the aviation sector starting to improve, UCTE was able to reach an agreement with the Vancouver Airport (YVR) to extend the recall period until September 1, 2022. The members were given a choice to extend the recall period or receive an additional $5000 payment if the recall period was not extended.

UCTE is very grateful for this opportunity for our members. Devin Glass, the Local President, said ‘’It was a true success!‘’. YVR’s administration was cooperative and is demonstrating great leadership.
