UCTE tells government that aviation sector needs more help – Position paper

While recent announcements have shown the government’s intention to provide assistance to the aviation sector, there is still a large focus on the airline industry and not on the actual infrastructure that supports the airlines – airports and Nav Canada.

As a result, UCTE has sent to Prime Minister Trudeau, Minister of Transport Marc Garneau and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland our position paper that highlights the important piece the work of our members in the economic recovery of the industry. Without proper investment in all airports and Nav Canada, the Canadian aviation industry will not recover well.
