EB group: Team discusses expanded leave, flexible work
Last week, September 14-16, there were talks with Treasury Board for the EB Group team. During the meeting, the PSAC focused on expanding a range of leave options and potential flexible work arrangements.
PSAC proposed several improvements regarding the following leaves:
- Enhancing sick leave
- Expanding leave for family-related responsibilities
- Strengthening injury on duty leave
- Providing leave for medical appointments

For flexible working arrangements, Treasury Board is exploring is exploring non-traditional working hours. This initiative involves changes for our members and it must be implemented fairly, made accessible and entirely voluntary.

The EB team returns to the table November 8-10. The common issues table will meet on September 27-29.
