A benefit was created for people who must take care of a child or a family member who have problems related to COVID-19. The Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB) covers all working Canadians who do not have access to unemployment insurance or paid vacation related to this type of claim.

This benefit allows you to receive $500 per week for a maximum of 26 weeks between September 27, 2020, and September 25, 2021. If your situation lasts more than one week, you will need to reapply each week.
