Our Commitment

To provide recommendations and input on implementing the equity priorities on emerging equity issues to the National Executive.

WHO WE ARE

The Equity Committee was formed in early 2022 and comprises representatives of the five equity groups from across the country:

1. 1. 1. Women,
      2. Racially visible persons,
      3. Indigenous peoples,
      4. 2SLGBTQIA+ members,
      5. Members with disabilities.

We aim to support equity, diversity, inclusion, and related priorities in our component. We play an essential role in helping our component develop and reach our equity goals by bringing equity concerns to leadership’s attention creatively and positively.
