On January 27, recognition awards were given by the PSAC BC Regional Council to recognize and celebrate the tireless work our members do every day in their locals, their committees or councils, and their communities. It’s a way for us to say thank you to our members for their commitment to the labour movement, their efforts to make our union stronger, and their work in the community. The recipients are nominated by members of their Local, Branch, Area Council, or Regional Committee and confirmed throughout each year by the BC Regional Council.

Bert Farwell, who has now worked for over 30 years for the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) as a ship’s crew member and President of Local 20220, won an award as a union warrior. UCTE is proud to have you with us. Congrats!
